Fitness Activities

All classes are offered on a beginner level and are appropriate for participants who have a health clearance from their medical doctor and or a release of liability signed consent form.

Yolati’s (Yoga, Plates, Tai Chi and Meditation) - A great stress reduction and exercise program that incorporates the concepts and moves of Yoga (YO) Pilates (lat) Tai Chi (i) and Meditation into a one hour class. You will feel energized and rejuvenated. Yoga mats are required. Good starter and stress reliever program for all.

Stretching and Strength Training - A basic muscle conditioning and stretching class that incorporates the use of resistance bands, free weights, and static stretching exercises. Mats, bands and free weights are required.

Children and Adolescent Programs - Flexibility is built into each program to meet the needs of each organization and facility. The programs are interactive, energetic and motivational. The audience is invited to participate throughout the entire program and a question and answer period is built in at the end. Handouts are included and physical activities are also available (i.e.: cooking demonstrations, food creations, arts and crafts, coloring or painting, fun questionnaires and even exercise). Some of the topics include:

  • Fun with Foods from Around the World
  • Fun with the Food Guide Pyramid
  • Fun with Snacks
  • Fun with Exercise
